A little preparation and hard work can help you get through any kind of interview in this world. Below are few things, if kept in mind will help you crack any kind of interview.

Identify your skills per job description:

After you have made the list of the requirements for the job, make a list of your skills and match them with each other.

Make a list of up to 10 of your skills that match the description of the job. These might include qualities, certifications, experiences, professional qualifications, interests, technical skills, and knowledge base. You can bring up some of these skills when you explain to the employer why you are a best fit for the job. Also, think about the examples from previous work experiences that indicate you have these skills. This way, if the interviewer asks you to describe a time when you executed a skill or ability, you will have an answer ready.

Go through the job requirements, your list of skills, and your examples, just before the interview so that you’re prepared to share them during the interview.

Read about the company:

Research thoroughly about the company. Before you go for a job interview, it’s necessary to find out as much as you can about not only the job, but also the organization. Company research is an important part of interview preparation. It will help you get ready for both answering interview questions about the company and to ask the interviewer questions related to the company. Moreover, you will get the idea whether the company and the environment are a good fit for you and your growth.

So, make a list of questions that you think can be asked in the interviewer, prepare your answers for those questions and do the rehearsal. Practicing interview with a friend or family member ahead of time and it will be much simpler when you’re actually in a job interview.

Dress Rightly:

Your personality gives your first impression to the interviewer before you speak up. This comprises of your body language, dressing sense and the way you carry yourself. If you are not comfortable with what you are wearing, then you get cautious about it and it will leave a bad impression on the interviewer.  Don’t wait until the last moment to make sure your interview clothes are ready.
